Seeing London at least once should be on the goal list of any person who likes to see the world. Finding budget hotels in the UK is not hard if you know where to look. Your best bet is to do some research ahead of time. Depending on where you’re going, book your hotel at least two days in advance. To save a buck, sacrifice proximity to city centers for a more modest hotel nearer the outskirts of town. City transit tends to be affordable in most cities, so you’re better off taking the subway, or local train, in than you are spending extra money on being two blocks closer to the main attraction.

Plus points choosing private Rome tour guide: With a Private Tour, you are accompanied by your very own tour guide and chauffeur, who are there to meet your sight-seeing needs. Having a team at your disposal means that you can be taken to the famous landmarks away from the hustle and bustle, beyond the crowds of tourists. It is like having a knowledge friend taking you on an adventure through some of the world’s best cities. What’s more, you can go off the beaten path into areas that even many locals themselves are unfamiliar with.

A few selected travel locations that i think must be seen at least once. Northern Europe and particularly Denmark is a fabulous travel destination. Oslo, Norway – Surrounded by water, mountains and forests, Oslo is an easy-going city with a fine array of international museums, parks and galleries. Lovers of contemporary architecture will want to check out the city’s fantastic modern buildings – the striking Opera House, the Astrup Fearnley Museum and the state-of-the art ‘floating’ Holmenkollen ski jump – but there’s plenty for history buffs and art fans too. Museums devoted to subjects as diverse as Polar exploration, wartime Resistance, Viking ships, the Kon-Tiki expedition and, of course, Edvard Munch and his famous Scream are all here.

If you’re looking for grand adventures to truly push you to your limits, then The Adventurists can help. This company’s excursions aren’t just about organizing trips for tourists to foreign lands, but are focused on creating unique experiences for real adventurers. For instance, the Mongol Rally is an overland road trip that sends drivers across Europe and Asia in a tiny car, while the Rickshaw Run is a race across Thailand in the titular vehicles. But perhaps the most intriguing of all is the Mongol Derby, which is billed as the longest and toughest race horse in the world. The Derby sends you off on a wild adventure covering 1000 km across the Mongolian Steppe on horseback, passing through a series of checkpoints while en route. This is a true adventure that isn’t for those looking for a guided tour, but instead want to leave the well-worn path behind and chart their own course.

Sardinia … an incredible spot to see.. Clinging to the top of a steep mountain ridge, the precipitous streets of Nuoro open to views in every direction. The 19th-century cathedral of Santa Maria della Neve sits above a cliff that drops straight into the valley, and the small plaza in front of the church is almost the only level spot in town. Nuoro is a good base for exploring the surrounding Gennargentu, Sardinia’s most rugged and beautiful interior mountains, and the remote villages (Mamoiada is especially interesting), which seem barely touched by the 20th century, let alone the 21st. It’s a fascinating region, with towns clinging to steep mountainsides and local customs that still ring of the ancient past. Driving here, however, is not for the faint of heart, as roads are narrow and steep with hairpin turns over sheer drops, without railings. You can learn more about these villages and their often strange customs at the outstanding Museo Etnografico Sardo (Museum of Sardinian Traditions), which alone is worth a stopover in Nuoro. This is the island’s best collection (and brilliantly displayed) of Sardinian costume and decorative art; clothing is shown on models with jewelry and accessories worn at weddings and festivals. An entire gallery displays traditional masks. While you’re there, the National Archeological Museum has collections excavated from the Neolithic sites, as well as fossils.
